Realty One Group Mountain Desert. All things Real Estate. I've been selling RE in Mohave County since 2005. During the foreclosure crisis of 2008+ I became specialized in Short Sales. I spent the next 7 years saving home owners from foreclosure by helping them apply for and complete a short sale on their homes. During this time I also found my master's degree in psychology a huge help. Sellers felt like failures and were ashamed at having to make the choice to short sale a home. The work of helping them during this time was as much mental and emotional as it was the business side of getting the job done. Those 7 years built my foundation and my reputation as a Realtor. Not only did I get the opportunity to help so many Mohave County homeowners, but I grew tremendously as a Realtor in terms of learning how an appraiser determines home values, how to negotiate with the banks, how to help my clients shift perspective and do what's necessary and PATIENCE in the process, for myself and others. I have a bunch of awards for the amount of transactions I've closed over the years but the one's that mean the most to me are the awards I received for character, for helping not only my clients but other realtors as well. When I moved to BHC I had no intentions of selling Real Estate. I planned on opening another private practice, but God. He forced my hand and I came begrudgingly in this business. I knew better than to resist his plans for me and the blessings on my family and myself because I obeyed and followed him have been tremendous. I will continue to serve this area and our people for as long as he will allow it. When I first ventured into this career I was scared to go outside of BHC or Ft. Mohave, these days I'm not only selling Bullhead City, Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley but Kingman, Golden Valley and occasionally, Parker and Lake Havasu City as well. I've also built a network of other reliable Realtors in areas and states I don't work in for referral purposes insuring my clients here have someone to trust wherever they are going and in turn, those realtors entrust their clients to me if they are coming this way. When Realtors talk, we almost always come around to, "if people only knew what we REALLY do....." but that is a big part of what we do. We shield our clients from as much stress and dirty details as possible. Buying and Selling a home is a lot of moving parts, my job is to help you as much as possible and shield you from things that you don't need to worry about. Client first, always. In my office I have a chalkboard that no one is allowed to touch. On it I have written, "To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity." It's how I run my business and my life.
